The Hawaii Science and Technology Museum is an educational, federally recognized 501(c)(3) non-profit formed in 2015 dedicated to Science, Technology, Engineering and Math education on the Island of Hawaii.

Hawaii Science & Technology Museum serves the Hawaii Island community through our various outreach programs such as Science Camps, math tutoring, after school programs, student research support, robotics competitions, and special events. We at HSTM, believe that every child deserves to receive a solid STEM education and that the future prosperity of our community and nation depends upon cultivating our next generation of innovators.
We support our exhibits, educational programs and special events with a lot of help from our many generous community partners. If you would like more information about our organization and programs, or would like to find ways to support STEM education in Hawaii, please contact us.
Discover History
Hawaii Science and Technology Museum hosts many special events in the community, such as our Science Nights where we go directly into the schools to provide fun filled evenings of hands-on STEM based activities to bring together students, parents, and educators.
Robotics
HSTM provides funding and support for various robotics programs including the Keaau High and Middle School Robotics Teams, Hilo Viking Robotics, Waiakea Intermediate School Titans, and Honokaa High School Robotics.
Science Fairs
The Hawaii Science and Technology Museum has hosted science fairs in partnership with the American Association for the Advancement of Science and is the parent organization of the Hawaii District Science and Engineering Fair that sends Hawaii students to state, national, and international level competitions at the International Science and Engineering Fair.

Hawaii Science and Technology Museum provides STEM based exhibits for the public as a part of our STEM Literacy Program in partnership with the Hawaii State Library System and local schools.
Science Camps
HSTM hosts science camps for students K-12. Our goal is to introduce our keiki to STEM from an early age and create a spark of interest and wonder.
Research & Development
The Hawaii Science and Technology Museum invests heavily in R&D to look for ways to expand the Hawaii Island economy and create a STEM Workforce Development Pipeline.

I sent my son to one of their science camps, he had such a great time. The camp was really well run and every day my boy would come home with a flurry of information about all the cool things he learned that day. He said he wished school was like that all the time. I hope they do more science camps, they did a great job!
